Stardew Valley Mods to Try
Patiently waiting for the 1.7 update, and also for a new laptop that will let me run my frankly embarrassing mod folder smoothly. Here is a few things I still haven't installed.
Farm maps
I am partial to DaisyNiko and by now have tried most of their mods. There's a couple layouts I still haven't looked at, plus some stuff that seemed interesting.
- Capitalist Dream Farm. Will use this as soon as I decide to go through with my expanded Joja playthrough. A neat freak minmaxer's dream.
- Strawberry Fields Farm. Hilltop look with none of the annoyance.
- Aimon's Small Hilltop Farm. If you know how I play you know I'm doing too much at all times. This seems good to try and chill out for once.
- Aimon's Big Swamp Farm. Straight up on the opposite ends. I love swamp environments.
Interior maps
Aimon111 makes a lot of interesting stuff I've never gotten around to installing.
- Aimon's Tidy Cozy Farmhouse. Again, I need to downsize from time to time and not waste six hours a time decorating. The sliding doors give me pause, but we'll see.
- Aimon's Fancy Greenhouse.
- Aimon's Fancy Shed.
- Aimon's Tidy Cozy Cellar.
- Kisaa's Farm Cave Pack.
Buildings
I'm always looking out for a good, cohesive look for my farm buildings. I still haven't found anything I'm in love with.
- Seasonal Japanese Buildings. Looks good, but not sold on how it doesn't match anything else in the game. Still would be good for a decor-only session.
- Nano's Countryside Farm Buildings.
- Bog's Seasonal Witchy Farm Houses, along with the entire mod pack. Would be great to use on the swamp farm.
- HxW Custom Buildings. I often find most farm maps too small to be adding in even more building types on top of the vanilla ones, but you never know.
- HxW Bee Stoneworks Farmhouse to match the above.
Furniture
Graphics
- Elle's Cuter Foliage.
- Vibrant Pastoral Redrawn, the only recolor that works with Expanded. I can't lie, some of the textures are really washed out and it doesn't have a working matching UI, but also I hate the yellow so much...
